I can’t help but be excited about the vibrant League of Legends (LoL) tournaments planned for 2023. LoL is very surely the biggest esport around and there are now millions of fans around the world. In this article, We will tell you about the biggest LoL tournaments in 2023 that you can’t miss.

LoL World Championship 2023 (in Korea)

The Worlds is the most prestigious event in League of Legends. The 2023 edition will be held in Korea. This tournament showcases the best teams from all regions in every presentation, as they compete for the ultimate title. The competition will be fierce, with new and old talents competing to dominate the biggest event in the game.

As we eagerly await the Korea 2023 World Championship, the season has already begun and there are plenty of events worth following for fans and bettors alike. Mid-Season Invitational 2023 (in London)

The Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) 2023 will happen in London with 13 teams participating in the tournament. LEC

The League of Legends European Championship (LEC) is the most relevant professional LoL competition for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The LEC started on 21 January 2023 and features 10 franchised teams fighting for a place in LoL’s main international competitions, Worlds and MSI. This competition includes some of the best players from the EMEA region and is organized directly by Riot Games.

During the LEC season, teams will face each other in round-robin matches, with the winners securing a spot in the playoffs. The playoffs determine the regional champion and secure spots in international competitions. The LEC showcases the depth and skill of the EMEA region, making it a must-attend event for fans of high-level LoL play.

LPL

The LoL Pro League (LPL) 2023, China’s premier LoL competition, has reached its playoff stage. After two intense months of competition, 12 teams are vying for the crown and a spot in the MSI. China has dominated in recent years, with RNG winning the last two MSI titles. However, this season RNG faces strong competition from JD Gaming, EDward Gaming, and LNG Esports.

The LPL Playoffs are presented in matches with a double-elimination format, ensuring that the best teams have the opportunity to face each other. As the region with the most recent MSI and World Championship titles, the LPL Playoffs promise to provide an intense and hard-fought competition as China’s best teams battle for regional supremacy and a chance to compete on the international stage.

LCS

LCS Spring 2023 marks the 12th tournament in the LCS series and is the most prestigious event in North America. The tournament will take place at the Riot Games LCS Studio and NRG Stadium in Los Angeles. LCS Spring 2023 maintains its familiar format, which includes multiple stages, a fixed number of participants, and a prize pool. Nevertheless, the regular season schedule was updated, with games now played on Thursdays and Fridays, and weeks 4 and 8 from Wednesday to Friday.

From 26 January to 17 March, 10 North American teams will face each other in the LCS Spring for a combined prize pool of $200,000 and a spot in the Mid-Season Invitational 2023. We can expect exciting matches and heated rivalries as North America’s best teams such as CLG and Cloud9 compete for the top spot in the region and a chance at MSI and Worlds 2023.
