Hidden Gems

  1. Netflix Games

If we start talking about every game on Netflix, this entire article will turn into a huge Netflix ad.

If you already have a Netflix subscription. Great! You get some additional games with no ads, for free. However, if you don’t have one, consider subscribing. Not only do you get a huge library of TV shows and movies you can watch, but Netflix also updates its online gaming library monthly.

Since Netflix is a streaming platform, most gamers underestimate its gaming library. If you are one of them, get ready for a surprise. Netflix does not just remarket the older games available on the App Store or Play Store. Instead, it offers a perfect mix of nostalgia and exciting games. Some of the games we had a blast playing are Grand Theft Auto: Definitive Edition, Hades, Kentucky Route Zero, and Rainbow Six: SMOL.

  1. PUBG Mobile
PUBG

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds was the game that started the battle royale craze, which is still thriving even after five years.

PUBG Mobile continued the trend, becoming one of the first major games on smartphones that had the fully featured gameplay from the original game. Teams of up to four players can jump from a plane onto an island where they have to find resources and weapons to survive.

A circular boundary keeps closing in, ensuring players have to confront each other at one point or another.

PUBG has a semi-realistic gameplay style, with a lot of guns and vehicles from the real world. However, it also features some items from the fantasy world like flying carpets and teleporting islands.

  1. Call of Duty: Mobile

Although Call of Duty was released for mobile before, this was the first time Activision released a standalone COD game for mobile. The game features content from several games in the two-decade-spanning series.

The implementation of the classic Call of Duty multiplayer mode is just amazing. The signature Zombies mode is also featured as well as a 100-player battle royale mode.

One of my Spanish friends was thrilled to see the inclusion of a battle royale mode since he’s a huge fan of PUBG. But, we found the 100-player free-for-all mode to be half-baked. My clan enjoyed playing the multiplayer mode the most.

However, I recommend using a wired connection by using a USB-C to Ethernet adapter, which was recommended to me by the representative on a call with número de Xfinity Comcast.

  1. Among Us

If you have a group of more than five friends, there is no better game you can play than Among Us. The game has become a cultural icon, mainly since it was the only game that a lot of people played during lockdown.

Among Us was one of the first games that executed the concept of in-person games like Mafia and Werewolf in videogame format.

The premise of the game is simple. A crew of eight members goes around a spaceship and tries to complete simple tasks when two imposters are trying to murder them. The game is extremely fun and it will help you channel your inner poker maniac via bluffing.

  1. Marvel Snap
Common Marvel Snap Server Issues

We first thought that Marvel Snap was just another pay-to-win card game. However, we were pleasantly surprised after playing it.

The game has a diverse set of cards with a Marvel twist. Marvel Snap has a very fun gameplay loop that’s simple, but extremely engaging and addictive.

Unlike most other games on this list, you can play this game in short bursts. Each match takes around three minutes.

The visuals in the game are highly intricate, the gameplay is exciting, and the Marvel characters have their abilities. This is a must-try game for every online gaming enthusiast.

  1. Clash Royale

If you are not someone who likes to play MOBA games but doesn’t have the time to sit through long sessions of League of Legends or Dota, then Clash Royale is a perfect pick for you.

In Clash Royale, you have to defend your base from another player using units that you can spawn via elixir. You can customize your deck with troops for both attacking and defending from the enemy.

Supercell, the developers of the game, also update the game regularly with new seasons, content, and characters. It’s a great game to play if you’re looking for a fun ad-free game on the go.

Most of the games in this list are already extremely popular. So, here is a list of some hidden gems that most people don’t know about.
