Ambipom
In the subsequent evolution of Ash’s Aipom, the Ambipom skills included Technician and Skill Link.
Aipom
Another Pokémon monkey with a hand-like tail. The Aipom also takes Ash’s hat and follows the team. Ash soon catches it, too.

A wild Chimchar, a Fire-type Pokémon resembling a chimpanzee, is caught by the Ash. It has the abilities of Blaze and Iron Fist.
Darmanitan
Darmanitan, a Fire-type Pokémon, can change forms during battle based on its ability and current HP. Inside Zen Mode, it becomes a Fire-type. Darmanitan’s abilities are Sheer Force as the Standard Mode, Gorilla Tactics as the Galarian Mode, and Zen Mode.
Grookey
Grookey is a Grass-type Pokémon. Its green fur can create energy from sunlight, similar to how plants photosynthesize. Grookey’s abilities include Overgrow and Grassy Surge.
Infernape
Ash’s Monferno evolves into Infernape once it rescues Ash’s Pokemon from the grip of Team Rocket. It still has the abilities it had as Chimchar.
Mankey
As suggested by its name, Mankey is a Pokémon monkey. As the show proceeds, a Mankey steals Ash’s hat, which has the abilities of the Vital Spirit and Defiant.
Monferno
Ash’s Chimchar evolves into Monferno. It keeps the same abilities as Chimchar.
