Hot on the heels of their box office smash, Deadpool and Wolverine have sliced their way into Fortnite’s ever-expanding universe.
Epic Games has teamed up with Marvel Studios to bring these fan-favorite mutants to the battle royale, offering players a chance to embody the regenerating degenerate and the adamantium-laced berserker.
Bundle of Mayhem
For 3,600 V-Bucks, players can snag the Deadpool and Wolverine bundle, packed with character-specific goodies. But if you’re more of a solo act, each hero’s set can be nabbed individually for 2,000 V-Bucks. Here’s what you’re getting:
- Character Skins: Don the red and black suit of Deadpool or the iconic yellow and blue of Wolverine
- Back Bling: Show off Deadpool’s severed head (yes, really) or Wolverine’s… well, we’re not sure yet
- Pickaxes: Slice and dice with Deadpool’s katanas or Wolverine’s adamantium claws
- Emotes: Express yourself with character-specific moves
- Wraps: Deck out your weapons in style
Up, Up, and Away!
For those who like to make an entrance, both Deadpool and Wolverine gliders are available for 800 V-Bucks each. Picture this: dropping into battle inside a hot air balloon shaped like Deadpool’s head, complete with an arrow through it. Now that’s an entrance worthy of the Merc with a Mouth!
LEGO Wolverine: Blocky But Deadly
In an exciting twist, the bundle includes a LEGO version of Wolverine. While Deadpool fans might feel left out, there’s hope that our favorite fourth-wall-breaking anti-hero might get the brick treatment in the future. After all, many other Marvel heroes have already been LEGOified in Fortnite.
Limited Time Offer
These items won’t stick around forever. Epic Games typically rotates its shop offerings, so if you’re itching to play as Wade Wilson or Logan, now’s your chance. Grab them before they disappear faster than Deadpool’s sense of propriety.
What’s Next for Marvel in Fortnite?
While nothing’s confirmed, rumors are swirling about a potential Marvel collaboration for the next Fortnite season. Given the game’s history of successful Marvel crossovers, it wouldn’t be surprising to see more heroes and villains dropping onto the island.
Whether you’re Team Deadpool or Team Wolverine (or Team Why Not Both?), this latest Fortnite update offers a chance to bring some mutant mayhem to your matches. Just remember: with great power comes great responsibility… to make as many wisecracks as possible while taking down your opponents.
