Is there a way to send Fortnite gifts to friends without having them on my friends list for 2 days? I'm curious if anyone knows of any workarounds or if Epic Games has plans to change this policy. It can be frustrating when you want to surprise a new friend with a gift but have to wait. Any tips or information would be appreciated!
Nah, there's no way around that 2 day wait to gift stuff to new friends. It's annoying but Epic has those rules in place to prevent scams and hacking.
Your best bet is to just add your friend now and sit tight for a couple days. I know it sucks when you wanna surprise them right away, but it is what it is.
Maybe spend that time playing some matches together and ranking up. Then once those 48 hours are up, you can hit 'em with an awesome gift. They'll still appreciate it even if it's not an instant surprise.
Epic seems pretty set on this policy for now. It's a safety thing. So I wouldn't count on them removing the 2 day requirement anytime soon. We're all in the same boat there.
