Can't play more than 10 mins without a crash. Tried updating drivers and verifying game files. Specs: i5-9400F, GTX 1660, 16GB RAM. Any ideas? It's driving me nuts.
A few things to try:
Update your graphics drivers. Go to the Nvidia site and get the latest for your 1660.
Check your in-game settings. Lower them a bit, especially shadows and post-processing. See if that helps stability.
Monitor your temps while playing. Use a program like MSI Afterburner. If your CPU or GPU are overheating, that can cause crashes. Make sure your case has good airflow.
As a last resort, try a clean install of Fortnite. Uninstall it completely, restart your PC, then reinstall.
If none of that works, there might be a hardware issue. But those steps should help narrow it down. The 1660 and 9400F should handle Fortnite no problem.
