I'm new to Fortnite on console and struggling with aiming. Heard aim assist helps, but can't find the setting. Anyone know where it is and how to turn it on? Thanks!
To turn on aim assist in Fortnite on console:
1. Open Fortnite and go to the Settings menu.
2. Navigate to the "Controller Options" section.
3. Scroll down to "Sensitivity" and make sure "Use Advanced Options" is turned On.
4. Then scroll to "Advanced - Sensitivity" and set "Aim Assist Strength" to 100%.
5. Save your settings and you're good to go!
Aim assist helps a ton when using a controller. It slows down your crosshair movement when an enemy is near, making it easier to line up shots.
I'd recommend keeping Aim Assist Strength at 100% for the most help. You can play around with the other Advanced settings to find what feels best, but the defaults are pretty solid.
Hope this helps you start lasering kids! Just keep practicing and you'll be cranking 90s in no time.
