I'm a student and my school issued me a Chromebook for classwork. However, I'd love to be able to play Fortnite during breaks or after school on this Chromebook.

Does anyone have any tips or methods for getting Fortnite to run on a school-administered Chromebook? I know there are usually pretty tight restrictions, but I'm hoping there may be a way around it.

I'm okay with using Linux or other workarounds if needed, as long as it doesn't violate any major rules and doesn't risk getting me in trouble.

Thanks in advance for any advice! I've searched online but most guides seem outdated or unreliable. Appreciate any up-to-date tips from those who have made this work successfully.

You can play Fortnite on your school Chromebook using a few methods:

GeForce Now: This cloud gaming service lets you play Fortnite without installing it. Just log into your GeForce account, search for Fortnite, and play. Make sure your Chromebook meets the system requirements and has a good internet connection.

Xbox Cloud Gaming: Similar to GeForce Now, you can use Xbox Cloud Gaming. Sign in to your Xbox account, search for Fortnite, and start playing. This method also requires a stable internet connection.

Chrome Remote Desktop: If you have another device that can run Fortnite, you can use Chrome Remote Desktop to stream the game to your Chromebook. Install the app on both devices, link them, and play remotely.

Sideloading Android App: If your Chromebook supports Android apps, you can sideload the Fortnite APK. Enable Developer Mode, allow unknown sources, and install the APK from the Epic Games website.

These methods should help you enjoy Fortnite on your school Chromebook without breaking major rules.
