I'm looking to optimize my game settings to improve my performance and potentially gain a competitive advantage. I've heard that pro players often use specific settings, but I'm not sure where to start. I'd love to hear from experienced players about their preferred settings and why they choose them.
1. What are your recommended video settings for the best balance between visuals and performance?
2. Which key binds do you find most effective for building and editing?
3. What sensitivity settings (mouse/controller) do you use, and how did you determine them?
4. Are there any specific audio settings that help with spatial awareness in-game?
5. Do you use any custom crosshair settings, and if so, which ones?
6. What FPS cap do you recommend for optimal gameplay?
7. Are there any lesser-known settings that you find particularly useful?

Thanks in advance for your insights! I'm excited to try out your recommendations and hopefully improve my gameplay.

Here are my top recommendations for optimizing Fortnite settings:

Video: Use Performance Mode, 1080p resolution, view distance on medium, turn off shadows and effects. This balances visuals and performance.

Key binds: Wall on mouse side button, floor on Q, stairs on E, roof on Left Shift. Allows quick building without moving fingers from WASD.

Sensitivity: Start with 400 DPI, 10% in-game. Adjust based on comfort, but lower sens generally improves aim precision.

Audio: Use stereo, disable 3D audio. Turn music off, effects to 50%, dialogue to 25% for better footstep awareness.

Crosshair: Small dot or cross. White color. Minimal opacity for cleaner sight picture.

FPS cap: Set to your monitor's refresh rate (e.g. 144 FPS for 144Hz monitor).

Pro tip: Turn on "Confirm Edit on Release" in settings. Speeds up editing significantly.

Experiment and find what works for you. Good luck!
