Is Zombies Mode Included in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2?

In October 2022, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II came out. Some people loved it, calling it the best game in the series. Others hated it, saying it was the worst Infinity Ward game ever.

Even though it had a lot to offer, like Spec Ops, multiplayer, and a big campaign, it divided players. Now, we’re checking out what the game had and asking: Does Call of Duty MW2 have Zombies?

In the Call of Duty world, Zombies mode is a favorite. It’s a survival game where players fight endless waves of zombies. They solve puzzles, get better weapons, and try to last as long as possible. 

This mode started in World at War in 2008. But does Call of Duty MW2 have its own Zombies mode?

Do Zombies Exist in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2?

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II has a lot to offer. It has a big campaign and a multiplayer mode with different options. It keeps players busy for a long time. But is there something important missing that many players love?

Is there a Zombies mode in COD MW2?

Sadly, Modern Warfare II doesn’t have a Zombies mode, and it won’t ever. It wasn’t considered for this Call of Duty game. Other content was chosen over it. 

The last time we saw Zombies was in Call of Duty: Vanguard in 2021, but that game wasn’t very successful. The last good Zombies mode was in Black Ops Cold War in 2020.

When Can We Expect Zombies to Come Back to COD?

Reportedly, the 2023 Call of Duty game, now confirmed to be Modern Warfare III, will include a traditional Zombies mode. 

This is unlike Black Ops Cold War’s Outbreak mode, which featured an open environment and various tasks. Outbreak also had vehicles and large enemies, but Modern Warfare III won’t have the same features.

In Modern Warfare III, players will go back to the original style of Zombies. They’ll have to survive against endless waves of undead enemies. Most fans are happy about this. It’s the classic Zombies experience that many remember fondly.

The first Zombies map, Nacht der Untoten, is legendary. Fans can’t wait to see what the Zombies mode will be like in Modern Warfare III.

What Do We Think

Modern Warfare II was a hit-or-miss for players. It lacked a Zombies mode, which disappointed many. But now, with Modern Warfare III on the horizon, fans are hopeful. The return to classic Zombies gameplay is exciting. 

Surviving against endless undead hordes is what made Call of Duty memorable. I can’t wait to dive back into the action and relive the nostalgia of fighting off zombies in Modern Warfare III.
