Sony’s bringing some serious holiday cheer to PlayStation Plus subscribers this December. The gaming giant just unveiled its final monthly selection for 2023, headlined by the critically acclaimed It Takes Two.
December’s Gaming Treats
Starting December 3rd, PS Plus members can jump into three distinct gaming experiences. Leading the pack is It Takes Two, Hazelight Studios’ cooperative masterpiece that swept the 2021 Game Awards. This charming adventure forces two players to work together as they get through creative puzzles and platform challenges.
Joining the lineup is Aliens: Dark Descent, a fresh tactical take on the xenomorph-filled universe. Players command a squad of Colonial Marines through intense strategic encounters that’ll test both their nerve and tactical prowess.
Rounding out the selection is TemTem, a multiplayer creature-collection adventure that puts a unique spin on the Pokemon formula. Created by Crema Games, this online adventure lets players catch, train, and battle with their collected creatures across a vibrant archipelago.
Current Offerings
There’s still time to grab November’s games before they vanish. Until December 3rd, subscribers can download:
- Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 – Turbocharged
- Ghostwire: Tokyo
- Death’s Door: Killer Within
Value Proposition
This December lineup showcases Sony’s commitment to diverse gaming experiences. From cooperative storytelling to tactical action and creature collecting, there’s something for every type of player. It Takes Two alone makes this month’s offering particularly noteworthy, considering its widespread critical acclaim and unique cooperative gameplay mechanics.
Remember to add these games to your library before the next rotation, even if you don’t plan to play them immediately – they’ll remain accessible as long as you maintain an active PS Plus subscription.
