How To Change Username In PUBG?
Active PUBG players, looking to modify their in-game usernames can do so by utilizing a Rename Card, an item purchasable with the game’s internal currency.
While reaching level 10 grants players a single free Rename Card, it’s important to note that this is a one-time offer per account. Any subsequent name changes will require acquiring additional Rename Cards through in-game purchases.
In the past, PUBG implemented a system where inactive players received a complimentary Rename Card after roughly 30 days of inactivity.
However, this practice has been discontinued. Presently, the only method to acquire a Rename Card is through a purchase using the in-game currency, costing 180 UC.
How to Obtain the Rename Card in PUBG?
PUBG On Mobile
Here’s how PUBG Mobile players can acquire a Rename Card:
- Open PUBG Mobile and tap the ‘cart’ icon in the top-right corner.
- In the ‘Treasures’ section, locate the Rename Card marked with ‘ID’.
- Choose the Rename Card and select the ‘180 UC’ option at the bottom left. Then, tap ‘Purchase’ to confirm.
PUBG On PC
The process of buying a Rename Card differs slightly on PUBG PC. Here’s how PC players can get one:
- Launch the game and click ‘Store’ at the top.
- Select ‘Items’ and then ‘Utility.’
- Choose ‘Nickname Card’ and confirm the purchase.
- Once bought, find the Rename Card in your inventory. To change your name, go to ‘Inventory,’ select Rename Card, and click ‘Use.’ Enter the new name and click ‘Ok’ to save it.
In PUBG, wielding a creative and memorable in-game name can enhance your overall gaming experience. However, keep in mind that customizations are limited to once per day using Rename Cards.
These cards come at a cost of 180 UC, so choose your name wisely to avoid frequent changes and unnecessary expenditures.
PUBG is available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
