Warzone 2 Preload Release Date On Xbox, PlayStation And PC

Warzone 2 preload is out, and the release date is November 16, 2022, along with the start of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare II season one, the addition of the DMZ mode, and a myriad of new gameplay modes to play through.

With the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Activision announced some significant franchise changes. These include introducing Free-to-Player (FTP) mode, allowing players to join multiplayer games without paying any money.

Warzone 2 Preloads Are Now Live

Pre-loading for WZ 2 has begun on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, and PC via Battle.net and Steam. Some have tested preloading and ran into a few snags, which they are currently working on with Activision.

Head to your platform’s storefront and search for Warzone 2. When it pops up, you should be able to press the preload button and begin the installation.

When you press “pre-download” on Steam, it opens up Modern Warfare 2. They don’t know why it doesn’t pre-download the whole game yet, but it is being worked on.

When searching for Warzone 2 on PS5, it doesn’t appear yet. However, Modern Warfare II appears, along with some Warzone 1 content, but no content for two is up at this writing.

However, if you want to play Warzone 2 on a PC, you can select the platform of your choice from the list.

What is the file size for Warzone 2?

When we tried to check the file size, there were some conflicting reports. Some sources say that the game will be 115 GB, but when we checked the game’s file size on our test console, we saw an error message.

Modern Warfare II on Steam is live, so we could already tell that the download would take up less than half of my available hard drive space. On the other hand, when we looked at the preload size for Warzone 2, it required just 16.7 GB compared to the MW 2 game.

We don’t know exactly what the game size will be at this point, but it’s likely to range between 6.2 GB on the Xbox 360 and 17.4 GB on the PS3.
